A video message from BFI Flipside co-creator Vic Pratt
In case you are swithering about whether to join tonight's free online watch party...
Despite my being stuck in London, unable to get home to Hastings due to Storm Bert, tonight’s watch party is STILL HAPPENING my friends.
At 7 pm tonight we will gather in our private chat room and I will countdown to press play. Here’s the link to a streaming version of The Raven (1963)
I hope you will join me and Vincent Price expert Peter Fuller to watch this glorious movie. You can either text-along-a-movie with us or join us at the end to tell us what you thought of the film - we’ll be in the CHAT section of Substack.
A message from Vic
Vic Pratt who was the driving force behind this piece of genius being released on Blu-ray TOMORROW,
filmed this lovely little encouragement for you all.
If you can’t make the watch party, I do hope you will put The Raven (1963) on your to-watch list for sometime soon. As Vic says, it is a CORKING film and you will dig it.
Snacks?
Maybe you will rustle up a chessboard cheeseboard to nibble on during the movie? The closing date for sending me your pix is 8th December. Prizes to be won!
Holidays are coming!
Have you started buying your prezzies yet? Do you know someone who would like one of these?

My first time joining in on this fun event! I hope I get it right. I haven’t seen The Raven in many years so I was due a revisit. Thanks a bunch for putting this all together my friends. I will probably only pay as I go because we often have our daughter and daughter-in-law over for Sunday lunch and often board games ♟️ Looking 👀 forward to this and I will try to get in on the chat 💬 Let me good times roll 🎥🎈
