There follows some extra Rear-Window-Related-Recipes and a sneaky peek at a chapter from my new book.

The chapter is about the TV show Ironside, featuring Raymond Burr in the starring role, who of course is also in Rear Window.

The official launch date for the book is 1st July, but it’s available to preorder now from my Etsy shop. I can sign the book and include any dedication you like.

Extra recipes this month are:

  • Jimmy Stewart’s Chicken Pie and Apple Pie

  • Grace Kelly’s Pissaladière

  • Thelma Ritter’s Seafood Dip

Here for one and all is a video demo of a Rear Window-appropriate cocktail - a Hitchcocktail! This was made when our movie of the month was Rebecca so there are a few references to that but I have made a new intro.

You’ll get to hear Mr Rathbone doing an impersonation of Alfred Hitchock. Here’s the only time I have done an impersonation of Alfred Hitchock.

By the way, I remembered after I made the video that Rebecca was set in Cornwall rather than Devon, but the spooky sentiment is the same!

All movie-related cocktail video demos and extra recipes are available in the archive for my beautiful and charming patrons of the arts (aka paid subscribers). But I love my free subscribers too - everyone is welcome here ❤️
