A Glorious Vincent Price Round-Up
Including a 30 minute "in conversation" with Vincent Price expert Peter Fuller
Readers’ Pix
First up - thanks to lovely reader Loula who sent me pix of her Vincent Price House Bread (recipe here if you fancy having a go). She made this with her daughter Rebecca, looks like they had a lot of fun!
Look at those lovely loaves!
Louise is a fellow film archivist and she has just kicked off a brand new Substack. Do subscribe for some fascinating behind-the-scenes goodies from film archives all around the world. Here’s a link to take you there - Behind The Frame
In Conversation with Peter Fuller
If you are a Vincent Price fan, I am sure you will have rubbed shoulders with Peter Fuller at some point. I am proud to call him a friend and we worked together on the Supper with the Stars book, which was a fabulous experience - it was so much fun to do.
Peter and I had a super-fun half-hour chat about all things Vincent on Zoom and I recorded it. My favourite bit was hearing about when Peter met the great man himself. I just loved it!
I think you will enjoy Peter’s passion, enthusiasm and deep knowledge of Vincent’s work. Do take a peek. Naturally, we had Vincent-related cocktails to hand! Peter talks us through how to make a Gin & It
and I explain how Vincent pimped up a Bloody Mary with Angostura Bitters.
The first 24 seconds of this has no sound. You’ll see me and Peter chit-chatting and getting ready to go. I am not good enough at video editing to delete it. It’s behind-the-scenes stuff, folks!
Here are all of Peter’s linky-links if you want more Vincent Price in your life.

The Raven Watch Party
As always, the watch party was so much fun! We had folks joining from Texas, Nashville, Tennesee, Evansville, Indiana, New York and various spots in London.
Here are my favourite quotes of the night…
I wholeheartedly agree - the HEADGEAR!
I won’t be hosting an in-person watch party in December folks, as I know everyone is just too mad-crazy-busy with holiday stuff. But there will be more in 2025. I promise.
Cooking Price-Wise is out now!
Here’s Vic showing us one of the very first copies
A peek inside the box…

I have TWO Cooking Price-Wise Blu-rays and TWO Oblong Box Blu-rays to give away as prizes to those who can play Region B - YIPEEEEEEE! Thank-you BFI Flipside!
Also, for those who are outside Region-B, the winner of the “rest of the world” entrants will be sent a copy of Supper with the Stars: With your host Vincent Price
If you already have it, I can send it to a chum - won’t they be thrilled?!
Ahhhh, I loved Vincent Price Month.
Holidays are coming!
Have you started buying your prezzies yet? Do you know someone who would like one of my books? Here’s a little sum-up of the last posting dates if you order directly from me via my Etsy shop. It’s Wednesday 18th December if you are here in the UK, but if you are elsewhere?
If you are a last-minute present buyer, all my books apart from the celebrity cocktail book facsimile are available via Amazon.
Star-spangled recipe books
My books are available worldwide via Amazon (switch to your own country for the correct pricing)
or via my Etsy shop (these will come directly from me and can be signed if you wish) - my 1933 cocktail book facsimile is only available from here.
Please note, if you want to buy the cocktail book and one of my other books at the same time, get in touch as I can send it in the same package without you having to pay extra postage.
Thanks for hosting this fun event! I love viewing and learning about the life and films 🎥 of Mr. Price and the fellowship in good spirits. Our daughter Kimberly is a monster kid like me and she is very busy but I am trying to get her involved. She is interested in your book 📕 Murder She Cooked for a Christmas 🎅🏼 present for her spouse Andrea. Glad to see the ever cool and groovy Peter Fuller on board! Thanks again and Happy Holidays!🎅🏼🎄❤️
You’ve seen this already, but I thought I’d share this with everyone else: my profile on VP from my previous blog, from 2015. I had done a year-long series on classic film stars and I did VP for Halloween. Unfortunately, I didn’t mention his culinary side, but I did mention his love of fine art.
