Here’s a place where you can give your verdict on Rebecca. Did you love it? Any favourite quotes? Moments? Outfits?
Did you make Chicken Fontaine? Or Joan’s Chocolate-Whirl Swiss Roll, Omelet or Braised Liver with Sherry? Did you rustle up a Hitchcocktail?
Loula P made the chicken dish
and delivered my favourite quote at the very end of the watch party, “All the nun’s knickers - gone” which probably only makes sense if you were there. It was so much fun, I’ll do another soon.
It doesn’t matter if you saw the film just now, at the watch party, or years ago, feel free to put in your two pennies’ worth!
I’m making Chicken Fontaine again today!!! Huge hit in our house - who knew I liked capers so much?! 🤔
Hi, Jenny. I love old movies and have read quite a few Hitchcock biographies., he was a very interesting guy, a great artist, but an odious human being. His films are far more complex than is obvious.
I found your site while in the hospital several years ago. I was fasting, and so hungry. I was consoling myself by watching old TV shows, and after watching the Columbo episode with all the chefs, I was poking around and found your cookbooks. So clever you are to connect the food and the stars. I especially love different cocktails, so am really enjoying your offerings.
