Not sure how I feel about this movie. It was enjoyable but I kept thinking how weird to be involved with the daughter when Benjamin had been involved with her Mother. If they ended up married it would be very awkward for Benjamin's parents and the daughter's parents. I guess the main thing that stuck out was that no one seemed to consider Benjamin as a person on his own or to inquire what he would like - for example, forcing him to go on a date with the daughter and the forced scuba diving in the pool. Mrs. Robinson did the same in her approach to what she wanted from him.

Hi Stephanie! I know exactly what you mean. The daugher was rescued from marrying the wrong man, but was Benjamin the RIGHT man? Who knows?! It's the kind of film that lingers in the mind for sure. He's definitely not making many of his own decisions in the early part of the film, but I guess we all have to grow up sometime!
