Well, this is genius. I'm a Brit in the US, a foodie, and met Bob Hope once (no kidding, even though I flatter myself I'm too young to know who he was...) Looking forward to this grub/movie mashup, to which I was alerted by the lovely Jolene of Time Travel Kitchen.

Well how fabulous Annette! So great that you are here via Jolene, and I hope you enjoy some self-indulgent movie watching accompanied by star-spangled fodder and cocktails. I love the phrase grub/movie mashup, you've hit the nail on the head. If I host a Bob Hope movie (he gave out his mother's lemon pie recipe to anyone who asked) I'll be sure to give you a name check!

Hi Jenny. I’m one of your test chefs from MURDER SHE COOKED (I made the chicken paprika). I’m looking to get established on Substack so I figured I’d start with you. Can’t guarantee I’ll be able to cook all of your recipes but watching movies shouldn’t be a problem.

HURRAH RICH! I'm thrilled you found my new "thing". Great to know that you are up for watching the movies, if not cooking all the dishes - that's absolutely 100% fine and dandy. Our first movie will be announced on Sunday April 2nd. Exciting!
